recommended first time grow?

hey everyone, i wanted to try to grow some shrooms here some time and it will be my first time. i was wondering if you had any suggestions for an easy first timer. im looking for something that will be worth my efforts yet easy to manage and basically fool proof. but ive been looking at these casing grows and i think thats what i want, anyone know a good casing method for the first time grow, or do you think i cant do that right away. thanks

Right away, I would lean more toward the PF tek. Make like a dozen 1/2 pint jars, and try your hand at casing maybe half of them. Check out the FAQ here - it's immeasurably helpful.

thanks, if i do casing will i get a higher yield than the regular PF way to do it?

Yeah, casings do tend to yield better than the PF method, although there are countless modifications to the PF cakes that have been invented to make them produce more. If you have a pressure cooker (and some extra cash), you might just give a shot to both.
