Incubation catastrophe??

Ok, I've been on a lucky streak ever since I started 6 months ago, with zero problems. Very lucky I was, even doing casings on my very first batch resulting in flush after flush of nice healthy mushrooms.

Ok, the jars I did this time were 1pint with birdseed, used the polyfill tek for air exchange etc...did it already with good results. Except this time I turnened the incubator up to 87degrees by accident. Thaught it wasnt too long like that and turned it down (at least i thaught i turned it down ) ..INSTEAD I turned it up!! Now it was 97 inside and this was for a while............................................MY QUESTION: Now my jars have brown dusty stuff in it...is that dead mycelium? Can I save anything somehow?

Brown dusty stuff sounds like mold.
I would dump them.

How do i know if they are dried out without opening a jar?
