how soon before i birth a cake should i have a terrarium up and running. how long does it need to be in working condition before it is ready to accomadate cakes?

I'd make sure you have a halfway constant temp and good humidity before dropping cakes in there.

I personally think that everything should be ready for the cakes way in advance, just so you can make sure everything is regulated, The last thing you would want is to find out your heater will burn out a week into birthing the cakes.
