So no POSSIBLE legal way, to cultivate Psilocybe contianing mushrooms for mycology purposes? What about like, Gartz and Stamets? How did they do all their research? I wouldn't be able to beleive it was illegal.. How about any University's that offer Psilocybe side learning?

come off it. that was years ago, these days you wanna research the esoteric, go to madgascar or somewhere like that, and take a bunch of dollars to give away free to the government. they may let you play if you line their pockets, but nobody nowhere is gonna legally line yours to explore something on the wrong side of the law. not even palo alto or pyongyang.

Man thats a bummer. I think I will just have to go research a little in Holland then? Makes me a little sad to think that a little could be soooo bad to learn about especially if it can benifit in other ways. So if I was printing a wild mushroom, and I was found in possesion is it still against the law? Is the print then illegal becuase it was made by illegal means? This seems a little confusing..

Being in possesion of the mushroom is against the law.
I'm not a lawyer, but I don't believe the print would be illegal even if you were in the process of making it. Even if it were it wouldn't be an additional charge (unless they could some how use it to prove intent to distribute an illicit substance... no that's just daft). And it would probably be the least of your worries in any case.

So basically, you're telling me that I could be an under the table provider for someone who is running a spore bank and if they were investigating how he got the prints, he wouldn't be in trouble of any sort for having prints I made? Obviously he found them....

If you're planning on scouting the world looking for new species or strains of cubensis, I have no doubt that if you have your shit (aka methodology) together you could do that no problem.
