allergies

A buddy of mine is allergic to mushrooms. It's an awful situation in life, but there you have it. Anyway, my question for you all is can the psychoactive agents in mushrooms be extracted, how easily, and will they still cause an allergic reaction?

depends if those are the compounds s/he is allergic to.. but i would think the odds of an allergic reaction to pure psiloc(yb)in is rare... but what do i kno. anyone?
