Growing Sinicuichi (Heimia Salicifolia) from Seed

I recently purchased some Sinicuichi (Sun Opener) seeds online because the website said that fresh leaves are much better to use than dried ones. So I figured I'd start growing some. I was kinda surprised about how tiny these seeds are though. They're mostly brown (I'm seeing a few green specs too) and size-wise are a fraction of a pinhead.
Does anybody have any experience growing this particular plant from seed or even any plant with seeds this small, for that matter? Obviously it wouldn't make sense to plant one at a time. It seems like they could just be scattered around but I'm also not sure how deep they should be planted. Please help.

the best way to grow seeds when you don't know what's the depth they like is, is just don't put them in the ground!
here's what i do...
get the seeds, some cotton, a little container(coffe cup), distilled water.
put the seed on the cup with watter...(put more than one..) and let overnight... the next day looking closely you will see at least one with a root poking out. get this one...gently..put in other cup with some cotton moistened with watter, the seed on the top. let it root.
you can let the others grow root in the water and make the same process.
when they have roots, put then in soil, reaaally gently and with extra caution.. they should then grow normally...

Hey, I really appreciate the response but I don't know that you're quite understanding how small these things are. Here's a picture.

If one of these were to start poking out a root, I'm not so sure it would be visible to the naked eye.
Worst case I guess I'll just send an e-mail to the company I got 'em from and see if they can refer me to anything.

just sprinkle the seeds on the soil surface and keep it moist, this specie is easy to cultivate.

Yup, just spinkle and maybe pat them into the soil lightly with a brick or something. Water with a spray bottle gently. Keep good care of those babies, and they will take good care of you

Cool, thanks! I just wasn't sure whether to scatter them and leave them right on top of the soil or if I should cover them up with some soil too.
Beautiful plant BTW FH!

mix them with some sand to help space them out some when you sprinkle them.

i am on elsig's side. sprouting these are like taking a piss.you just do it and things work out. sprinkle seeds into hand and sprinkle on top of light mixed soil.i do not reccomend cotton idea from above.be very light on sprinkling of seed.start in a flat as say a 10 x 8 inch dish 2 or more inches deep.they are a deep rooting plant.after flat is sprouting wait until they are several cm. tall before transplanting. i like to use a butter knife to help lift the soil from each plant.also always hold a plant from a leaf when transplanting.a leaf can rejuvinate and a broken stem cannot.

Great detailed advice!!
Thanks!

just remeber that heimia salicifolia seed is a light dependent germinator at around 70-80 f.if seed is viable than only a brown thumb could mess up.
