Hello nice poeple,
I need some answers to this question.
Sitting in my room is a nice bag of shrooms. 7.5 grams of psilocybe cubensis. Now the qeustion is not shall I do the whole bag but whether I should take a trip from it and do that by myself tonight.
The thing is I have my first exam(which is quite important) coming up on friday followed by a few more in the following weeks. I have had quite alot of experience with shrooms but was wondering whether it will affect the exam that I have four days from now. I realllly wanna shroom tho, I wanna try it solo also because i've only ever done it with friends at their house and can imagine it being nice and deep.
so gimme some feedback guys

That's wise Dream, and that's what I would say as well.
But I remember someone's sig which states something like : "drugs are good and you always do them when you know you shouldn't".
Conclusion : good trip if your mental is not strong enough to resist !

Well, you have worked hard for the exam, right? If you fuck up, you've wasted time, and will waste more time doing it again. So, just for the sake of doing it today, why not wait a week til afterwards, then you can go free without worrying about your exam. I aint saying you will fuck it up, but if you do, you'll be pissed.

ohhh,
everyones saying what i dont want to hear, reasons for doing a trip 2nite
-first time going solo
-a special treat for me for revising so hard
-it may help (I dont really see how it couldnt)
+I usually do around 3.5-4 grams and so 2-2.5 grams shouldnt blow me away

I've done it recently before exams. I enjoyed it but it did not help me at all. If your exams are important and that you're not that confident in your brain's ressources, then avoid it !
Here are some of my thoughts :
-A reward is always a bad idea if taken before...
-a first time solo is best if you know that there is nothing in your mind waiting to jump on you. Exams could be a thing that could make you feel cupability (never happened to me though...)
-it won't help at all... I don't see how. You'll be tired tomorrow, and you won't be as intelligent as you could have been during a few days
-last but not least : the longer you wait, the greater your trip will be. Your tolerance will be reduced to zero and you could achieve an awesome trip later (and if you take some now, your tolerance will increase...). That would be the reason why I wouldn't take some shrooms.
If I were in your shoes (actually I am cause I have to study before my exams...) I would take a few drinks (I said a few...) and think on how hard life can be... Best "reasonnable" thing to do.

Just eat the MUSHROOMS, 4 or even 3 days is more than enough time to recover. Thats if you need to recover, when I eat shrooms I feel full of energy and well rested the next day.
Stop delaying and just EAT EM!!!!!!!

actually I did 7 gram a week before my exams and I don't think it affected my grades.
Still need to get my results back tho, so I'm not sure 
it was a pretty shitty trip because I accidentaly mixed ephedra and shrooms so I had a hangover for two days, but after three days I was perfectly back to normal.

Mind as well wait until after the exams. Even if you usually feel fine after. I always feel fine after until this weekend. I tripped on saturday and it was the most intese trip ive been on. Today, i still feel all cloudy and not clear. Mind as well wait in case something happens, as long as its a small dose. If its large then just wait, you got your life to do it alone.

HELLO AGAIN,
Well Its tuesday morning here in britain and I didnt do any shroomies in the end, and im glad I didnt. I will wait for this exam to get out of the way before I go on a psychedelic journey.
