actually I don't believe there's anything that could get rid of the effects... some people claim that vitamin C or even plain sugar is capable of doing that, but personally I just think it's the placebo effect.
eating something before you're peaking could affect a trip. simply because it will take longer to ingest the shrooms
When people either voluntariliy go into or are taken to the emergency room because of a bad trip, or extreme effects, or from dangereous behavior b/c of hallucinogenic drugs, they actually give them different types of tranquilizers, mostly. These drugs are very similiar to antipsychotic drugs, which both reduce dopamine levels, a chemical associated with hallucinations and psychosis, and schizophrenia. (I said "associated") So inversely, to increase a trip you would want to do things that increase dopamine levels (typically stimulants, but I havn't tried very many. My friend took some caffiene pills one time and the trip lasted WAY longer than he wanted to... he couldn't sleep for a couple days!
I had a friend who was given some sort of sleep inducer once, but I have "heard" that vit. C supposedly increases effects of the trip. So I would try eating that before hand, if it is MORE you're looking for. I usually drink some orange juice that day, but I have eaten those candy-like vit. C orangey disc things, and it couldn't have detracted from the trip, but I havn't scientifically tested it. But its worth a shot (someone i knew who tripped A LOT swore by vitamin C)
-------------------- real lived experience is the most valuable thing - all of it is, too. (although my name implies I am an abstract mathematical construct, I am actually a real guy, emodying many essences of "dudeness")
