Small caps and cottony mycelium on top of cake?

What the fux0rz?

A friend's Treasure Coasts have small caps, biggest being half an inch after the veil broke. Along with that, he looked at the top of the cake and it has all this cotton looking mycelium growth on it. What's up?

Donno man, could just be the strain.

As for the cottony sector on your cake, it basically is saying that you're humidity is very high.

Mine are the same....

Ive got a couple of cakes throwing out fifteen to twenty fat pins each right now. Those cakes are second flush... so it's a matter of waiting and being patient.
