Innoculating cold jars...

Any problem with doing this? I just yanked some BRF jars I've been storing out of the fridge, and was wondering if anything but a delay in colonization would occur when knocking 'em up cold.

Ok. I was curious if since they won't colonize right away, if the solution will drip more and more towards the bottom until it warms up. As a result there would be a clump down at the bottom, and not so much on the sides.

But I don't really know that much about what happens during this process.

I would just wait, when people around here say patience is key they mean it,I am sure you would be better of knocking them up when cold that hot and killing the spores but why not just let them warm to room temp to give them the beast start you can give them
