wild rice???
    #644752 - 05/25/02 11:41 AM (22 years, 4 months ago)

I'm planning on birthing the rest of my jars tomorrow. After that I'm gonna cook up another dozen jars.{The old ladys working twelve hours so I gotta lot of time.}I was wondering if throwing in some whole uncooked wild rice in the pf mix would hurt.I just thought it would be a little more airy substrate and would colonize faster, also might add a little more nutritional value to the substrate..........Is this a high idea? Anybody try it before?

I persoanlly wouldnt do it, but I have seen people who have. Just stick with the PF method, as your shrooms will be much more than satisfied with the amount of nutrients you have already added witht he BRF.
