Awesome!! I wonder if these changes will become evident to you with the passage of time and, if not, if they will become evident as you continue your experiences.

At least it was a lesson learned on the setting!!

Outstanding! Thanks for the detailed report, very informative.
So how do you feel about your actions on the whole? Do you feel a craving or a longing to go back to that place, or is it more like something you enjoyed and may enjoy again at the time of your choosing?

Good stuff, take care.

I really enjoyed these trip reports. I have not yet experienced DMT but will be working on an extraction here soon. Those trips seem really crazy. I believe that I remember t. mckenna talk about transforming machine elves in regaurds to his first dmt experience. It is pretty amazing how everyone gets to the same place.

Please keep posting your experiecnes with DMT. I really enjoy reading about them.

Can you describe more how the smoke feels on the lungs? How does it compare to say, marijuana? How big are the hits that you're taking, and what would you say is the minimum required to achieve such a state?

"So, you take, let us assume, a third toke, long and slow. You vaporize, and you take it in, and in, and in, and there is a sound, like the crumpling of a plastic bread wrapper, or the crackling of a flame, and a tone, a tone, a 'mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!' And there is a cheer. The gnomes have learned a new way to say 'Hooo-raaay.'"

Hey buds.
That is an interesting journal you got going.
I can appreciate the way that you describe the difference between the psilo/dmt molecules (lsd is right in there, too), it helps me understand what the experience is like.
It's also cool that you get to realize that you usually are not on another substance when you visit. Personally, I never considered trying to boost up off a trip like that, but you make it sound very interesting.

Good stuff man, I'm quite partial to the spice myself and can attest to it's life changing abilities. It's the most utterly powerful, awesome, and interesting thing on the planet IMO and more people should be experiencing it, especially intelligent people. Totally changed my perspective on life and reality. Ever get the feeling like there's some sort of wave starting, or that DMT somehow influences and/or is connected to things you experience in everyday life?

Come on over to www.dmt-nexus.com sometime, or if you like good DMT trip reports, check out thenook.com as well.

That was incredible. One of the best reads I have ever come across. Makes me really want to try DMT, and also reassures my personal feeling that there are MANY other dimensional realities than this very limited one we are trapped in due to our limited sensory capacity. Awesome thread and experiences man.

So how do you feel about the other dimensions that you've entered. Do you think it's just one hell of a mind blowing hallucination, or do you think that DMT could be a key to the brain to allow your soul to leave your body and enter another reality or dimension other than the one we live in?

I definitely think that DMT is the Spirit Molecule. Everything adds up. After reading a lot about DMT, having my own personal experiences with DMT, and speaking to others who have used DMT as well, there isn't a single thought in my mind that what happens when one is on DMT is merely a hallucination. I know that there is much more. I know everybody has heard it a thousand times, that there is nothing that will prepare you for DMT. The reason why it gets repeated so often is because it's true! I think that DMT actually transports your soul, or parts of it, to other worlds that are just as real as our own. There is so much more to our world than what meets the ordinary eye. There is dark matter in the world, and there are parallel universes. DMT, I think, reinforces this fact. We know that Black Holes exist, despite their invisibility to the ordinary eye, because of the gravitation force that they exert upon objects that are visible to the ordinary eye. There have been so many interesting theories concerning Black Holes. I do think that DMT transports your soul through one.
Thanks for the question!

In a book I read a ways back called "EVP and New Dimensions" the author, a former NASA scientist, postulates that the "white tunnel of light" commonly encountered by those that have Near death experiences is actually the other, or reverse-side of a black hole of some sort that leads to alternate dimensional frequencies of existence. He said he basically believes the black hole turns itself inside out at its end and becomes a white hole. And he thinks that they have the ability to completely alter reality and space-time.

Great additions to the chronicles brother! One of these days I'm going to load myself into the dimensional cannon too. I bet you miss being over there when you're back on this plane. It's a shame we can't just naturally produce larger amounts of endogenous DMT, and be able to fluctuate and interact freely with these other beautiful realms and beings at will.

It keeps getting better. Keep up the good work bro!

This is one of the best threads on the Shroomery. I think it's right up there with the "Recent LSD prints" thread and ChinaCat's "Crystal to blotter" and thumbprint threads.

I really want to try DMT and explore what's out there but the only thing holding me back is that I'm afraid such an intense mind blowing experience will weird me out or change me. I don't really want to be and weirder than I already am.

I read them all. Great stories.

I especially loved the one with soul travel.

I'm buying MHRB soon. I hope I break through on my first time, but at least I know its nice otherwise.

How close would you say a strong mushroom trip is to your breakthrough?

A DMT breakthrough is an experience that is far from any other kind of experience. However, if I had to select an experience that is most similar to a DMT breakthrough, it would be that of a strong mushroom trip. Truly, they are highly different experiences, and yet, they sort of have a similar feeling to them, as if they were father and son, DMT being the father, and mushrooms being the son. They just have the same essence about them, which might be due to their highly similar chemical composition. It boils down to this: DMT will take you to places that mushrooms are incapable of taking you, and mushrooms will take you to places that DMT is incapable of taking you.

The thing I like about DMT, is it's not a plant's defense mechanism like most other drugs we do.

Boy, if trip 24 doesn't lend credence to multiple dimensions, doorways, and creatures with command over them, I don't know what does. That was cool.

I would like to find out what the female being was going to show you through the water passageway! haha

The 26th trip... is... man I don't know but damn I wish you could have said more... do you have any reflexions about it? I mean did you reflect a bit more on that trip? I'd like to hear some, if any.

Thanks for the question.

Due to what had just happened, I was freaking out for quite some time after the trip. At first, I really wanted to reflect on the trip. I was going to a river, and I had originally planned on tripping on some Treasure Coast mushrooms. I had it all planned out. I was going to spend the night out on a rock in the middle of the river, trip on the mushrooms, and reflect on the DMT trip. However, when it was time to dose, I don't know what happened, but I just decided not to. I just didn't want to think about the trip. It's hard to explain. Perhaps some might think that I was unconsciously attempting to repress the memory, but I do not think that is it. It's just one of those things, one of those things that takes a lot of time to understand. It's not just something I'll be able to decipher in one night while tripping, but rather it's something that might even take years to understand. I'm still reflecting on it.

I do not think that the girl Elf was evil. She just really scared the shit out of me. She made present in me things that had once brought fear to my heart. The touch seemed to catalyze the fear. I'll edit the Chronicles when I finally derive exactly what was going on.

This is really how I felt after the 26th trip:
I have come to conclude that a DMT breakthrough is very peculiar. I've broken through many times. Therefore, a person would normally be inclined to think that I've grown to know what a DMT breakthrough is, and I certainly think that I know what a DMT breakthrough is. I know how it feels, and I know what it's like, and yet, I always seem to be caught off my gaurd when a DMT breakthrough occurrs. Nothing can prepare you for the breakthrough. Even if you've broken through many times, you'll still be caught off your gaurd. What I'm trying to say is that no matter how many times you've broken through, a DMT breakthrough will always shock, surprise, and astound you. It's just one of those things that you think you have become familiar with, but really, there's no possible way to become intimately familiar  with it. DMT will always surprise you. When you experience a DMT breakthrough, it's like it's always your first time to experience a DMT breakthrough.

I do hope that this answer will suffice!

I wonder what it was that caused so much fear and terror on trip 26? Do you think it was some sort of wavelength being projected or programming they did to your consciousness?

I've heard of abductees claiming to feel that same sort of terror when encountering the greys, even though their physical appearence really isn't imposing whatsoever. Sort of like a 'field' they put out to keep us with a healthy respect for them.

I do believe that the terror was brought about because of what I saw, what I really saw. I saw the truth, and a little part of me didn't want me to see the truth, and therefore, in an attempt to camouflage that which I really saw, the little part awoke fear inside of me, the fear serving as a defense mechanism. It is my belief that the Ego is broken up into two segments, an unconscious one and a conscious one. I have concluded this belief after scrutinizing study, after really examining the phenomena of an Ego Loss. Even when one is having an Ego Loss, they still will have random ‘outbursts’, random regurgitations of words that come from absolutely nowhere. Personally, during a Ego Loss, I remember saying the words ‘marijuana’ and ‘mushroom’ to myself, and yet, I had absolutely no idea what those two words meant, and yet, something inside of me, deep inside of me, knew those words and triggered me to blurt them out. I don’t believe that it was my Id, my instinctual self. My Superego is out of question. My Ego is left. However, my Ego is lost, so it can’t be that. Wait a second, perhaps it is my conscious Ego that had been obliterated, and my unconscious Ego was still present. This unconscious Ego is to be held responsible for the phenomenology of random ‘outbursts’. That’s what I think. There’s no way to break away that unconscious Ego, it will always be there with you. It was that unconscious Ego, I think, that awoke fear inside of me, because it’s counterpart, its brother, the conscious Ego, was basically having its life threatened. What I saw was the truth, for all of the preconditioning contrived by culture had been transcended, and I was staring at the immense dimension of opportunity. Naturally, a little part of me, my unconscious Ego perhaps, didn’t like this, for it threatened the life of its counterpart, and so, it awoke fear inside of me in order to get my mind as far away from the truth as it could.

Thanks for the question!

Well, naturally, a DMT breakthrough changes you, it turns your life completely around numerous times. It changes your eyes, for now you have seem more, experienced more, way more in fact, than the everyday, ordinary chap in society. A DMT breakthrough can change you in ways that you aren’t even aware of. However, this is nothing to be scared of, but rather it is something to be thankful for. It makes you weird. Do you think that you are weird? Of course you don’t. However, the majority of people in society will consider you weird, will perceive you differently than you perceive yourself, for you have experienced something so great, so wonderful, so amazing, and they, they, have not experienced this, a large part of you is absent in them. The majority of people in society will perceive you as being weird, as being an oddball, because you have experienced an experience that they have not experienced. You, however, on the other hand, will perceive them as being weird, as being the oddball, because they have not experienced an experience that you have experienced. Becoming weird, being perceived by the majority as a freak, is nothing to be afraid of, for now you are no longer constricted by the natural, mundane mind.
There is a guy that I know who absolutely loves getting “fucked up”. He takes every single drug he can get his hands on, and he virtually is never sober a single moment. One of my best friends mentioned DMT to him, and he responded in a natural way. This is what he said, “Dude, I don’t want that shit, man. Have you seen the way those people (the people who use DMT) look? They’re fucking weird.”. I smiled when my friend told me this. In a sense, it is true.

Thanks for the question!

The mushroom trip turned out to be quite nice. Mushrooms and DMT, for me, are very similar in feel. However, apart from that aspect, they are immensely different. DMT is a form of transportation, a way to travel. I don't feel as if I'm tripping when on DMT, but rather I feel as if I'm traveling. Therefore, I'm usually 'sober' when I enter the Elf domain. However, when I take mushrooms, I'm not, and therefore, things are a bit different. I like them a lot, and so do the Elves.

Thanks for the question!

Also, the English languae only has neutrally-based gender pronouns, which means that a he can be a she, and a she can be a he. "She" is the correct terminology for a man, and it's also the correct terminology for a woman. It's all correct!

Awesome as usual bro. Hopefully now that you've reached full enlightenment, the plagues and stresses of this reality will not wear on your spirit as much. We're here for such a short time when one considers that what is inside of us at our center is timeless, and what awaits us outside of this test is unlimited. Consciousness and it's collectivity are truly amazing. The multiverse, multiversal beings, and their unending possibilities are truly awe inspiring IMHO. At our core we have it, and them, all folded within our spark. You have been so fortunate to access this and guide it. I'm seeking this out as well. My intuition screams that this is part of my energetic path, no matter which way I gain access to this path (through heavy meditation, trance, or psychedelic states). I just know that there is so much more surrounding us than what we have been preconditioned to percieve with our limited senses.

Even though your chemically-induced psychonautical voyages are in their retirement stages, I think your evolved consciousness will be forever stepping with one foot in this reality and another through the other doors. Hopefully you'll continue sharing what you see and feel through this evolved set of senses, with or without exogenous tryptaminic transportation.

Thank you so much for sharing friend.

Just out of curiosity, do you buy the DMT from someone or order MHRB online and then do extractions for yourself?

This is by far the best thread in the Trip Reports Forum, it's sad to see it come to an end, but I'm glad you've found what you've been looking for.

Extracting yourself is very simple, so the latter.

Thank you, S, T, and A.

And thank you too, Dingleberrysalad. Don't worry - The DMT Chronicles aren't over, really. I'm simply on a vacation. In a little bit, I'll be back home again, embarking on a new journey, searching for a new treasure. Yes, that does sound a bit ironic. I don't know how long the interval will be, but, be rest assured, it shall only be temporary - just a little breather to get out and about and strech my legs before I take another deep plunge into the Elf world.

Adagio is right. People just don't sell DMT like they sell pot!

Funny you should mention that. I asked a local ganja dealer the other day if he could get ahold of shrooms, Cid or DMT, and he looked at me in horror and said, "Dude, I don't mess with that crazy shit!"  LMAO!

I liked your conclusion about the blue and yellow sky. That's a good conclusion to reach. I hope you feel better about your life in general now.

Maybe next time around you'll experiment with Torch, which personally I find to be very gentle, on the body, in comparison to Shrooms. And smoking stuff.

I think you need to look into Dzogchen and Namkhai Norbu. Not because you 'need' it per se, but because I think that Dzogchen will help you get a sense of what is merely mind, and what is the 'elf-space' (rigpa) and how to contact it without dope, which as you know fucks up your lungs.

Moreover, it is about the only cult that I believe has some value anymore.

Of course you could always get into shamanism officially but it seems to me you sort of went beyond that in some ways already. And there's always the problem of what do you do when the cops takes away your bag of tricks and you are in jail for dope possession? Can you survive that? I am not trying to be a smart ass. But true spirituality needs to be duplicatable in adverse conditions or else what sort of peace of mind cn one really have?

This thread is a great comtriubution to the shroomery. I never did DMT. Maybe I will some day. But I appreciate getting some faint insight into what it is. I apprectiate that you were able to remmeber what you saw and express it too.
Thanks.

This is an excellent thread.

Your last report resonated with some of the thoughts and feelings I've been having regarding my own experiences recently.

Really appreciated that you wrote this. I could definitely see this kind of documentation in a book of some sort as others have said. The last entry, 33, was something else. The part about the colour of sun and sky was a great summation. Shnezbit, thanks for bumping this.

Thank you all for the comments.

In some time, I will begin a new journey and traverse beyond the psychedelic once again. Although it's been quite some time since my last DMT experience, the teachings I've gained from the Elves are still assimilating themselves inside my mind. Soon though, after I've figured everything out, I will pick up my little glass pipe and embark upon another expedition, seeking out new knowledge.

That's cool dude. Your trip reports are book-worthy. Is the author a shroomery member?

So are you done with DMT for good now? The elves have taught you all there is to be taught???

Thanks, man.

The author isn't a Shroomery member, but he does read the Shroomery quite a bit.

For now, I am definitely done with DMT. For life, I'm not sure if I'm done with it. The Elves have taught me a lot, but I know that there is so much more to learn. I think that what they have taught me needs some more time to sink in. I'm not going to journey back to their world until I feel confident that it is time. It will probably be a while, probably a few years - that, I feel certain in saying. It's going to be a pleasure, however, to watch others traverse beyond the psychedelic.

I got and read the book-Fantastic stuff. Really quite heavy too. The relevance of its contents and how the gov and religious establishments try to keep us from pursuing self discovery with these tools has never been more timely and important than in thus current era. It's a must-read IMHO.

I was reading about DMT on wikipedia.  This thread was linked in the article.  It was this link that allowed me to discover this website.

Very interesting trips.  I read the first whole post.

I've never used DMT, but remain very sceptical regarding any reality behind one's experiences thereon.

Nevertheless, very interesting stuff.  Much better description than the crappy description given on other websites.

Justice_Fish,

I doubt I would change my mind through the experience.  I have seen God in my dreams, yet I do not wander from my agnosticism.  I admit the remote possibility that God has spoken to me in my dreams, but I see no rational reason to believe that this is necessarily the case, that my dreams are anything but a product of my subconscious.

I'm sorry is that sounds cold.  I don't mean to challenge anyone's belief structures at this time, but simply to illustrate the root of my scepticism.

Omni,

Do I possess enough imagination to hold that not everything I experience under the influence of a drug is real?  Your use of that quote is not ill-advised--you're clearly appealing to me sense of scepticism by using it.  Thus, your reply is a very strong one.  Nevertheless, scepticism is a two-way street, as my question illustrates.

I'll admit this much: it's not beyond the realm of possibility that this alternate dimension actually exists, or that Feanor has visited it.  It is my perspective that it does not, and that his experience was fully within in own head.  I admit my perspective could be theoretically incorrect.

Ultimately, neither of us has any form of objective proof to back up our divergent perspectives.  I respectfully maintain the a priori assumption that the universe I seem to now experience is real, and that alternative dimensions cannot be reached through the physical means of drug use.

Respectfully yours,
Alex

I don't make the DMT myself, but I know the guy who does. I believe that when it comes to extractions he performs an extraction on the DMT containing material with highly diluted acetic acid as his solvent. He uses moderate heat to speed up the process. He then makes his solvent basic by adding either KOH or NaOH to the solution. Then, he extracts again with another solvent, such as DCM or Naptha. He then concentrates the pulls and allows the DMT crystals to precipitate out via freeze precipitation.

I'm sure that you can find some good teks on the net. :mushroom2:

I'm new to this thread just finding it, I could go into detail of all the times I've broke threw, but I've decided not too, for me the experience itself is far far to rich in unfamiliar feel and a completly inexplainable reality. So I've decided to just give people the experience, I always give away dmt, to people who've never tried it, I'm all about blasting people into space. If done in the right way, the dust can do amazingly powerfull things. As me and my friend so call it the body of christ. For me, lately I break threw everytime, I've gotten the technique down very well. The onset is nearly instantaneous, I never remember exhaling. 40-60mg each time, bout once a month. The stuff has inspired me to represent my human body via sound, changed the way I see everything in this world, changed how I view psychedelics completely. It is an absolute , it literally transports 'you' to somewhere else, in space or time.

I hear all this talk of elves, honestly I dont really see them as elves, alot of times they are very very short, and sometimes I'll break threw and fall backward, and I will open up my eyes and I'll see them walking together so sychronized, and lifting me up on a stretcher, but they never put anything under me or really grab anything, I see the tops of them. To me they always look like those old chinese conical hats. But thats speaking in the most generic and human bound description./ The texture of reality, is infinitely complex, the more you look and try and make sense out of something, the more it becomes complex, looking at your hands for instance, the prints on your fingertips will twist and spin around, the surface of this world, is incredibly geometric, incredibally self-symmetric, and profoundly color-full. I tend to think at most points during this time I'm experiencing synesthesia, but our normal human bound sense dont exist. I guess for someone who hasnt broke threw on dmt this may not make a whole lot of sense, but you know I'm seeing, but I can't honestly say I'm using my eyes, that sorta thing.

But I just can't help but wonder, you think the 'elves' smoke some sort of substance and blast themselves into the human reality? :boobs:

I've never had to take more then one hit to break threw. Work the puddle inhale slowly, dont burn it, & have quality product. Nothing like homogenus n,n-dmt. Good luck and safe travels.

Wait a minute... If you can still see your fingertips, is that even a full on breakthrough??? I thought when you breakthrough physical reality doesn't even exist anymore and you're pretty much unconcious.

I've had an intese DMT trip where I couldn't see anything in the pysical world, just constantly colorchanging and shape-shifting barbells, but I still didn't even think this was a full on breakthough because I could still talk and I was still concious, I just couldn't SEE anything in physical reality.

Wow, read all of the posts today and I am so happy to read that you found what you were looking for.  On a mushroom trip in Alaska, I came upon a remarkably similar conclusion and it has changed my life profoundly.  I look unto the world through a different set of eyes and its remarkable beauty is enough to overwhelm me at every moment of the day.  I have never tried DMT, but it is something that I may try in the future, if it is meant to be.  I am curious if you have ever tried ayahuasca because it sounds a lot like DMT.  Thanks for the great post again!

I will be updating this regularly. I'm removing The DMT Chronicles for now, as they are being rigorously edited. When I finish a section, I will add it on here. I hope you enjoy. Thanks for reading.

You can find the introduction in my first post on the first page.

Awesome Feanor. I think your DMT chronicles are a very important record of the DMT experience. Good luck.

I have no intention of coming out of Retirement....:crazy2:

Ahh my young friend.. I was worried about you for the two or so years that we did not talk.. I have always kept your cell number and knew that one day an old friend would call.. I enjoyed your read but as you know im a simple minded person and I enjoy keeping my life as simple as possible.. You on the other hand were a force to reckon with.. I watched you grow for a couple years and was sad to see you go and even sadder to here of all the shit that you were going threw..

I'm glad that you battled your inner demons and that you came out on top with a clear head and an even clearer plan for the future..
Im proud to call you my brother and I look forward to more reports from you..

Oh and BTW That photo of you and the "Cube Vision" was taken the day we got turned around in the woods at aria 51 and the same day that my wife and kids were in that terrible auto accident...

Proud of you man!

Yessup.....

I'm new to the shroomery and
I'm so glad to have somehow stumbled upon this thread a few days ago.
I've read through all of your chapters so far.
It was greatly eye opening.
A trip to another realm on DMT is one of the things I absolutely have to experience before I die.
Thanks for posting about it!
Can't wait for your next updates!

Thank you for the comments, Mastagata and meowOrz. They are greatly appreciated!

Well, I have updated with a new chapter. Ch. 4 - DMT Bound details how I stumbled upon DMT. It can be found in my second post on the first page. I couldn't post it in my first post, because it made the post too long.

Once again, thanks for reading, and if you'd like to receive an email, notifying you of updates, go ahead and pm me your email address, and I'll let you know when I update The DMT Chronicles.

I often think about starting a sort of Church Of DMT to share such things with the public. Aslong as I can produce the proper enviorment to keep things safe mentally and physically I dont see the problem. Kinda like strassmans Cottonwood Research.

Great new post Feanor.  On one of my LSD trips the symbolism of Plato's Allegory of the Cave was present throughout the entire trip.

Can't wait to hear about the platonic forms.

Thanks, guys. I updated with a new Chapter - Ch. 11 - A Platonic View of the Soul.

It can be found in my seventh post on the first page. Thanks for reading.

The DMT Chronicles: Parmenides, Plato, and the Psychedelic has been published.

Here's a link to the book:

http://www.amazon.com/DMT-Chronicles-Parmenides-Plato-Psychedelic/dp/0982730209/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1283473426&sr=8-1

About the book:

"In my opinion, this book stands alongside many other books from more famous authors in the psychedelic movement, such as Terence McKenna and Timothy Leary. Parts of it made me laugh hysterically, while other parts of it helped me gain insight into the great philosophical minds of antiquity. It is a book that every entheogen enthusiast must read!" - Krystle A. Cole

"Following in the footsteps of his pseudonym's namesake, Terence documents his headlong dive into the deepest realms of the DMT experience in search of the Machine Elves and their wisdom." - Martin W. Ball

This is the story about an undergraduate who is obsessed with two things: DMT and philosophy. Having come upon a surplus of DMT, Terence Turner embarks on numerous psychedelic odysseys, repeatedly coming into contact with McKenna's Self-Transforming Machine Elves. What follows is a transparent account of his psychedelic experiences coupled with various Platonic and other philosophical notions.
