Cool. As with other species, you can stock up on them when they're fruiting, then dry and store to make tea all year.

Why not just gather what you need? These fruitbodies are part of an ecosystem... They are different to 'regular' mushrooms in that they take a lot longer to grow. I'm not against harvesting a few, and cultivating more...I just think that people harvesting things from the wild need to think 'sustainable' all the way. No point harvesting a billion then having them collect dust somewhere. And if you were planning on selling them wouldn't you require a permit of some kind?

I brew it with my coffee, only a slight shroom taste
You have to add a bit more sugar than normal

Yeah it gets biter once it dries, but when fresh I find it very enjoyable. I don't think it's that bad dried either.

I usually wake up in the morning with horrible plugged up nasal passages, 1 cup of Ganocoffee and im clear as a bell.
Reishi is a pretty amazing mushroom and has a lot of natural histamine blockers

Its only prolific in coastal regions where you have a constant high humidity
Reishi does well in a low humidity environment when its fruiting because it gets its nutrients and water from its host

Hey man zeewarp, are you interested in buying reishii? Cause I have an awesome patch a huge hemlock in the woods has fallen and this fall, I found 3-4 HUGE reishi's like a foot across. Just massive things, and a few littler ones. I know they'll be back , as well as finding a bunch elsewere. I've made some tea couple times just to get a feel for it. PM and look in my gallery for specimens.
