Mom's Flower Pot!

A foaf inoc'd some substrate and he had some snow white grain left stuck to the bottom of his quart jar so he filled it with warm water and let it set over night. In the morning the grain was floating on top of the water in the jar, rather than tossing out in the yard like he usually does he dug a small hole in one of his mothers plants she keeps in the window and through the grain in and covered it with the soil he had dug out. A few weeks go by and his mom comes to him and says" I just noticed the srangest thing, there are about ten little mushrooms growing out of that plant I keep in the window". He didnt know what to say at this point so he just told her well let them grow for now and I will ask my teacher about them. Later he told her to just let them grow because his college bio teacher told him it would be good for the plant. LOL I dont quite know what he will tell her when it is time to pluck them bad boys but I will keep you posted...

How many rye kernals were used? What kind of yeild do you think those mushrooms will produce?

There had to be around 1/4 cup or so. I think they will produce about 3-4 dry grams

I only hope yer uh friend has his mothers permission to do what i think hes doin ,if not he should'nt be growing in his mothers house ,doing sum thing on your own is diffrent ,but implicating others is just plain wrong ,she could loose every thing she has if you know what i mean think about that .MEW

He is on her lease but thanks for the concern. He has never been in any trouble and lives in cow country with no neighbors for acres all around so he will be ok. I will tell him though if anything happens to say the plant is his. thanks again..
