i'm nervous about starting right now. i need to pressure cook the jars and i don't have FOIL!!! and my car is busted so no ride to the store, the mix is sitting, HELP!!! do i need tin foil for putting them in the pressure cooker?


I dont even grow these things... I just post for this guy that knows a guy, who's sisters boyfriend dumped about 2 months ago.

I would say, "yes"..otherwise the water is likely to seep into the jars.

no you don't
as long as you put electrical tape over the holes
i've personally never used foil
they say it slows growth but i get fully colinized jars i a week or so
in my opinion tape is great
dont even pull the tape back when inoculating the jars just pucture through the tape and put a fresh piece on top after removing the needle
ive never had a prb w/contams this way

Tin Foil isn't necessary. I used to use tape only all the time...works just fine...just make sure no excess water gets into the jars.
