Gibberellic Acid?

This is a growth hormone that produces super-sized plants. It is fairly easily available from various science shops, presumably for use in science projects. I was curious if it might also produce super-sized mushrooms? I'm guessing it would not because a mushroom is not a plant. But I bet that mushrooms have their own hormone of some kind that controls growth. If that could be found and applied during fruiting it seems to me some super-sized fruits would be possible. Any thoughts?

I doubt it would do anything, but it would be a pretty simple experiment.
It would be great to find some useful fungal hormones. It could revolutionalize the mushroom industry. I would imagine that some work has already been done. Anyone have any info on that?

I know that if this is used on Marijuana and probably some other plants? that if you select a branch of a strain, and spray that plant on that same branch over a period of time it will turn male (if you have a female plant). Then you can clip the male branch off and clone it to get a male of a female plant. So essentially this acid allows you to make a pure seed from ur plant without having to cross it with another male of another type.

I just read an article that says indola acetic acid was found in fruiting bodies, this is a common rooting additive, do you guys think its possible that auxin or its related chemicals could induce fruiting,
