Is it even worth the try?

Ok i had this jar that stalled along time ago (but it still had rather nice size spots of mycelium) and i use plain brown rice (kinda like the 9er tek) So anyway when the jar stalled alot of the uncolonized brown rice started turning brown and yucky (not a mold or anything just yucky) so yesterday i was like what the hell and poped it all out and salvaged all the mycelium and made a casing. so was it even worth it do you think it will grow? (the mycelium i cased it with still had good rice but there was some yucky shit that got in there)

Depends

If you just used the colonized part of it.....you are probably fine.

ya i did and im pretty sure i should be fine but i just thought a better ask just in case i hope i can get some nice flushes out of it
