I've seen people have foil over the jars (after innoc.) before. In the mmgg it doesn't say to put them back on.. whats going on here? How does this help?

I tape the holes during sterilization and cover with foil. Then, I innoculate through the tape and then simply place the tin foil over the holes. It gives enough air exchange and in ideal temperatures I see good colonization in 3 days.

Tin foil keeps the contams out

im thinking of staring to tape and tinfoil since I flip, some type of micropore tape
