Coffee filters won't filter out contams, tape will slow colinization a bit.
If you used a plain verm seal you shouldn't need either.

It's where you fill the jars up to the bottom of the threads with substrate, then top it off with dry verm.

It's called a ramsey seal I think.

hey black
treasure were fast colonizers for me but pinning was extremely slow
b+, pesa, and hawaiian were very fast colonizers for me and fast pinners i used wheat and dung as substrate.
