You'll probably get a better response in the Physical and Mental Health forum.

creatine just really causes water retention thats why it makes you look so big

Do a search of that forum and it'll pop up with a few threads on what you're looking for. I'm sure I've seen that stuff discussed more than once in there.

It works for sure. I recommend Creatine Ethyl Ester, its the good stuff. My personal favorite is Cell Mass, from BSN

It does work, and it does increase water retention so drink extra fluids. And when you cycle off your gains will slightly reduce.

Some of my friends use(d) it and they did get bigger, however you do need to drink a whole lot of water and work out on a regular basis. A couple that stopped using it look fatter then before, I just work out and diet, and eat protein supplement.

dont to creatine, ive used it, all it did was cause me to sweat more, forcing me to drink more water and add water mass.. gave me a slight increase in my workout but not much.

NO2. great supplement... there is another one, thats a lot better, i just cant think of the name.. ill check out GNC and get back to you

Yes you are in the wrong forum, I would have to ask a few of my friends about that, I workout sometimes but I get back into being lazy, and drink beer/smoking bud..etc.
But I have heard it makes you gain faster, but you need lots of water when you use creatine.
I workout when I can, I just use vitamins and protien powder, but I need to get back into it again, I was into it every other day for a while, but I have been slacking off on working out.

I would have to ask my friends, some of them are into working out, martial arts and shit and still do tons of drugs and alcohol and keep going strong.

why would a mod move a thread when the user specifically mentioned that he had posted about this in here before, and wanted to get the opinion of pubbers?

I did Creatine and I got noticeable results. Creatine simply saturates your muscle fibers with water. That's why you have to drink so much water. Make sure you cycle on and off. When you stop taking it and stop working out you get flabby and soft. It doesn't turn to fat (common misconception).

I fucked up my shoulder a while back due to a shitty spotter...so I had to have surgery and I haven't gotten back into the lifting weights mode. I really miss it but it's hard to motivate myself lol.

I found it gave me a bunch more endurance (maybe because of the increased water flow to muscles).

ya, i sometimes use Creatine Ethyl Ester, protein shake at least once a day, and sometime L-Arginine for energy boosts during lifting.

I drink like 3 gallons of water per day so my muscles are fully saturated in water. This helps muscle growth and recovery.

PM me if you have any questions, i work out 7 days a week and am in the best shape of my life.

edit: i do recommend it. but keep in mind, a good diet is 10 time more important than supplements.

damn VoidsOfPG, that sucks, what lift were u doing when u hurt your shoulder?

I think I have a permanent upper arm/shoulder injury from a bad racquetball swing that I refused to let heal and just made worsse and worse.

i have a few friends who take creatine, they say it definately makes them bigger and a little stronger. downsides I've heard is you have to keep taking it for a really long time or youll rapidly lose the muscle mass.

personally i don't want to fuck with that... I just lift weights alot, eat alot of good food and whey protein powder. it goes great with cereal!

Creatine does a lot more than just saturate your muscles with water. Creatine monohydrate is great for beginners. I think it's a lot better than some conglomerates of dogshit creatine out on the market right now.

I recommend Prolab's Creapure. Good source, but remember that it won't particularly dissolve in water. Drink it pre and/or post workout with protein and an equal amount of high GI carbs. I reccomend dextrose or waxy maize starch if you can get it (out of this world carb source due to it's high molecular weight).
