What is the usual amount of water added to perlite for humidifying a terrarium? 1:1, 2:1? I know playing it by ear is the suggested manner, but there must be a general ratio since perlite's absorbancy doesn't vary much. Or does it?

just fill it up half as much as the perlite.
put ur cakes on the mason lids, and u can fill the terranium with as much water as you want

Ah, so it's better to have the perlite spread out over the entire bottom of the terrarium than in a separate smaller container. As far as mixing H2O2 in the water, would 25% be appropriate (oops, last dumb q #2)?
