Why did my birdseed clump up after PC??!?!

First time this ever happened to me. I loaded up the PC w. quart jars of birdseed. This was the first time I used gypsum so it WOULDN'T clump up. Well, I left it on high for an hour and later on noticed there was no steam coming out of the regulator. It had been an hour so I turned it off. When I went to shake the jars the birdseed clumped up in big chunks and wouldn't break apart. So did this happen because the water ran out and it burned the birdseed?? Thanks so much guys!!!

Whattup Vato!?!?! Yeah, I haven't been around the forum much lately. The only thing I changed was using filter discs and plastic lids, but that wouldn't have anything to do w. why it clumped up. The PC was completely dry when I opened it up. anyone else care to take a guess?? Thanks!!
