Isle check for dessicant, where to find?
Also instead of using foil to cover the jars can I use 2-3 coffee filters for better gas exchange?

Check around the paint areas. I found mine as soon as I walked in the door. Look for Damp-rid, it comes in a milk carton type container (mine did). I wouldn't use coffee filters because they absorb moisture allowing contam's to develop (they are not like tyvek). Just use some saran wrap or a top with a few holes punched in. You want some gas exchange but you also want some c02 build up.

Damp Rid sucks.
Go to a craft shop and buy silica gel flower drying crystals.
No matter which you buy, fan dry for awhile first. This will help either the silica or the damp rid last much longer and is better for your shrooms. (Less chance of rot setting in)
