Water loss during PC

Hey guys, does anyone know how much water grains (WBS in particular) lose during the PC process? We are talking 1.5-2 hours PC @ 15-20 PSI.
Giving there is enough water loaded into the PC throughout the entire process.

None, unless you do something silly like pop the weight off at the end to release pressure. If you leave the PC to cool slowly overnight, there will be zero moisture loss from the jars.
Be sure to reduce the stove to the very minimum setting that will maintain pressure once 15 PSI is achieved. RR

well i let it cool overnight and ~15 hours later i pulled the pressure release which lasted for about 8 seconds before opening the top. i wouldn't think that impacts shit. is that ok?

awesome, thanks agar.
another thing, after simmer/soak the WBS smells like complete ass. what is the problem with this fermentation if it is rinsed well?

Once rinsed it should have almost NO SMELL. Suggest rinsing somemore, with HOT water.

Many people experience excessive water loss when they allow the weight to giggle excessively, by weight I'm talking the kind that allows for three different pressure settings. With these types the weight should only giggle 3-4 times a minute when dialed in. 3/4-1" of water is all thats needed and is all I've ever used. GL guys

Once you figure out what setting to use on your stove so it stays at 15 psi you shouldn't use much water in the PC and don't ever pull the weight of to speed of pressure loss, just turn off the heat or move it off the burner

I can handle the smell of both birdseed and rye but I would never go so far as to say that I like it
