Fear and Loathing in LV has so much extra shit you notice when tripping. But the attourney, Dr. Gonzo, just really puts a bummer on shit. cause he is psycho, and trippy in the bath scene

I love that....the constrasts between Dr Gonzo and Raoul Duke. It's fucking halirious watching Duke cool talk his way through the worse possible scenarios. Gotta love the ether scene when they stumble up towards the circus.

It was fun to watch Lord of the Rings, especially if you've read the books. It depends but, the movie was seriously just as I imagined it when reading. THAT's trippy. Hmm.. am I imagining or watching? BOTH. HAHAHA.. It was great fun.

yeah, i generally try to stay away from tv when im tripping (i dont even own a tv), but if you ever catch samurai jack on the cartoon network, it is fucking crazy sober, i'd really like to see it tripping.

Frank Zappa's 200 Motels hands down. If you haven't seen it you definitely need to. Yellow Submarine is also fantastic, obviously. There's also a cult classic from 1980 called "The Forbidden Zone" that is supremely hilarious while on weed, but I imagine that it would be too intense while on shrooms since it involves death and hell at some points, but if you think you can take it, by all means dose up.

It depends on a individuals preferences. Me personally, i watch anime, any cartoon really.. Be it Adult Swim, or the vast collection of anime i have. I agree with HB that more often then not they are extremly dark. But i myself like those kinds of trips

The only 2 movies I truly remember while tripping on acid are Lion King and The Exorcist.
Lion King was fantastic until the end when pops dies.... and then it got pretty heavy. All in all a good watch though.
The Exorcist was a mindfuck and a half! That was probably 15 years ago and I still cant get the image of her pea-green swirling face out of my head. I just watched it for Haloween this year and still saw the swirls like I was dosing. That movie (or me) will ever be the same.

wow i cant even handle media that well tripping...maybe i dose too high for a beginner...i need to be on a beach at night or in the woods for the morning. all in all i prefer day trips...night trips can get pretty oppressive. my trips have been difficult mostly, i guess i keep doing it because of the steps i've made personally although a nice trip now and then would be a jewel. i started taking a little x about a half hour before i trip but that makes everything hectic and i do i really wanna screw that cute bunny i may or may not be seeing...?
i cant stand watching tv...tripping would be even worse... i tried playing neverwinter nights online with some friends on an rp server but that required more attention than i was willing to give...
maybe i'll watch salival next time  i always love to listen to aenema or lateralis when tripping
