i ddont no if ud agree, but i have to say Courage the Cowardly dog is the best thing to watch while tripping or just plain stoned....
I just smoke 5 bowls(low tolerance!)and im tripping out on everything espessially this show...ITS GRREAT!
I highly recommend this show to trippers...O MY GOD...The dog is speaking like an english person-is it the show or just me

Cartoons are trippy, period  However, I'd prefer to watch Ren and Stimpy in an altered state.

Me and some friends decided to eat some of the shrooms growing in my lawn and go see a movie. We ended up going onto a navy base and watching Holow Man. I had some fucked up thoughts about humans that night, let alone being surounded by people with guns. I suggest watching that movie while frying. BUT only if you havent seen it be4. otherwise it would ruin the fun.

I dont think I could take that movie, that movie scheves me out when I'm straight. I have an adnormal fear of blood though. I think it would make me WAY too uncomfortable while tripping.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory? Their are some pretty strange scenes in that movie.

I love Ren and Stimpy, but do they ever come on any more?? I agree, though, watching cartoons while stoned is the best, especially watching the Adult Swim series

Seriously, Tom and Jerry... great cartoon to trip out on. I mean, I don't enjoy the show much when I'm sober, but damn, shroomin... Nothing they do makes any sense, it's so fun to watch, cuz you're just tryin to figure out WTF the whole time =P

Adult Swim really bothered me when I was tripping extremely hard on shrooms ...
However, Looney Tunes was great for a lower dose trip.
If I'm going to watch something on a trip I ALWAYS stray from trippy things and just watch whatever has great happy vibes to it. Often trippy movies are quite dark and show the evil side to trips ... like Alice in Wonderland, etc. Not fun IMO.

I hate to watch tv when im tripping. I like to walk around my "hood" and laugh at the trees that are melting into the soil. Sometimes though, I see run over animals when im walking around frying... then I start to cry.

My friend was on the gods flesh and he said that "Oh Brother Where art Thou?" was just beautiful and also "cute", I think, and he usually hates "happy" movies like this and although he thinks george clooney is "bad", he really enjoyed this movie.
I have to say- i would avoid going to see movies like swordfish in the theater.
But the best i saw- we turned on tv and Iron Chef was on. the main ingredient...
shittake MUSHROOMS! this was insane and rediculous to watch while on the "laughy" part of the trip. I was crying. i thought that this guy like taped it and put it on for us to watch (he wasn't tripping, but he would always grin and laugh when i anxiously looked at him while in the middle of laughing). I started to feel that it was all a conspiracy, but now i realize that it was just crazy chance. but it was rather disconcerting to see close-ups of people eating their food, and laughing and commenting in those cheesy dubbed voices. once again - IRON CHEF

hehe... indeed.
iron chef is the shit! i used to watch it all the time (when i had a tv), sober or stoned... it was an awesome hour of entertainment. now a days, the only things i really watch are iron chef, simpsons (well all of the sunday nite 'toons.. king of the hill/futurama), and a few other select shows. i saw walking with dinosaurs on the discovery channel during the half-time and commercials of the laker/kings game 7 west coast final, it was pretty sweet too.

LOL Ya know what, I was just flipping through channels today, eating some crispy turkey bacon, and I stumbled upon the cartoon network playing courage the cowardly dog. I was sober, but I thought it would be a cool cartoon to watch in an altered state.

Pantera54, I would suggest whatever movie you feel has a definitive happy vibe to it, preferably not too much drama also. Drama can cause you to think upon your own life and it might bring out negatives. Unless you want to solve these negatives tripping (which I wouldn't suggest unless you are quite experienced) then just watch a nice easy movie.
Suggestions would be (from my own experience) Dazed and Confused and Half Baked ... I don't often watch much on trips, but if I will watch anything, I would go for these. They are extremely easy to follow and are just about having fun. No real plot, no violence or screaming, etc etc.
On lower doses I have started experimenting with "harder" movies, recently being Fight Club on a level 2 trip. It was really enjoyable, but I found I still would have just preferred something that is just happy.

When I trip (I'm a low doser 1. - 2. 5 grms) I like cartoons like furturama, and Batman. Who's Line...is really funny while tripping, Proops and The Tall guy are really clever.
I try not to vege when I'm tripping, but it happens.
I cant wath 'hard' movies, like a lot of death/violence.
I recently saw The Salton Sea, and it kinda spooked me, with its morbid visuals, and crazed characters. Although I HIGHLY reccommend the Movie sober.
