What is your Opinion about pennington brand bird seed?

I have a feeling all you guys are gonna say the brand sux. Any other brands the work better as a suitable WBS? I have noticed the growth of mycelium has changed a bit from season to season, but that just might be other variables since I also try new idea's and what not.

I never used anything other than Pennington and really wouldn't care too. it's cheap and works well.

i've used penningtons for almost two years now and never had any problem with it. I like the fact i can get it at wally world, i feel its sticking it 'em a little.

Check my gallery. It's just about all I use for the reasons stated above. The Pennington's Brand Finch Seed is primo (no sunflower seeds), but more $$.

regaurdless of seed, make sure you remove the sun flower seeds

mmmhuh...i just buy my stuff from the local feed store...got a 40lb bag for like $6...and its that good stuff...did like 10 qt jars and only had alittle over a handful of sunflower seeds...makes pouring them off really easy!

Wide mouth should be the only kind of quart jar you use for whole grains. It makes getting your grain spawn out MUCH easier.
