pin's shedding (pic)

I had 2 leave for the weekend and when i came back i noticed the pins on my one and only cake appeared to be "shedding". I think it's just cuz the house was around 55 degrees and i don't have a heater in my terrarium yet. Has anyone seen this before?
What i really want to know tho is what strain of cubenis i have. I bought the spores from a store and they came in a cardboard tube and it had a hightimes sticker on it. If anyone can help me out here that would be great. Thanks

I've seen that around here once before. It could be due to excess water (the cake is touching the perlite) and the low temps = slow growth. just my 2 cents

I have gotten pins like those frequently. Don't worry about it. They are quite regular looking. Quite often the "shedding pins" as you call it, turn into abhorts. I wouldn't worry about them.
