Growth slow...Any ideas what to do? Pics!!!!

What up all....

This is what my equador looks like 2 weeks into fruiting. Is this normal growth or am I just freaking out! I have more pictures to come digital cameras kickass!!

Some one have any ideas??

Your cakes look dry. When my cakes are healthy they look like cotton ball, lots of mycelium growth comming off. There should be a slight fuzz of mycelium comming off the cake. Yours appear dry and have that vein/skeleton look. I would consider drilling holes in the center of the cakes for rehydration. I find this works well. Give your cakes some more time, How long have they been birthed? If they do not improve, I would try some sort of hydration tek.

Have you dunked your cakes? If not, I would suggest dunking them, covering them, and then placeing them in the fridge for 24 hours. take them out and place them back into the terrarium.

i agree, screw cakes, I dont even want to bother, If i cant get casings right then why am I even bothering, I want to experience the true mushroom growing cycle... cakes just seem like a hassle to me.
