i just want to say that after a lot of research i have started my first batch of pf jars. i have 11 that i innoculated 2 weeks ago. so far they are about 1/2 colonized and so far uncontaiminated. thanks to everyone who has helped. with all luck in a couple of weeks i will harvest plenty of goodies. once fully colonized i plan on dunking them for 12 hrs for optimum results. any thoughts or helpful responces would be apreciated. thanks again to a wonderful forum and good luck to all.

Good luck to you . This is a very fun hobby. Dunking does wonders for me when I do cakes, I also dunk in-between flushes too. Now I mostly do all casings I just love they way they grow in casings.
