Is the sopranos season 1 any good? My mum is going to get me it for christmas.
I used to watch it on tv but ive forgotten all about it.

Agreed.

I'd never seen The Sopranos, but I'd been hearing about the show for years. So a couple months ago I went out and bought Season 1. Before I was halfway through watching Season 1 I was so hooked I ordered Season 2 through 5. Now I've seen them all and a friend of mine is bringing me Season 6 for Christmas.

I can hardly wait. I keep wanting to just start all over again with Season 1 to keep myself occupied till Season 6 gets here.

All the hype about The Sopranos is (for once) not hype at all. It's a GREAT show.

Another show that lives up to all the hype about it is Lost. I'd never seen it either, but I bought Season and Season 2 on DVD. Just finished the last episode of Season 2 a couple nights ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll be picking up Season 3 on DVD a year from now for sure.
