I love that song.
I got nothin' to upload because I'm at work.

That could have been a good album if Clapton had laid off that retarded wah wah pedal, IMO he just didn't have the timing or coordination for it. Mind you in 1967/68 everyone was too stoned to have noticed

Well it was a fun time for sure but every generation has it's own scene, you guys have raves, electronica and E, that's the neat thing though i can still live in the present with fond recollections of the past

I hear ya man, who can tell where anything's going? No one back in the 70/80's could have predicted EDM/Trance, MDMA had been sitting around since the German's created it in 1912.Then there's the "Power of Now"(new millenium) vs "Be here now"(early 1970's) as the differing generation's bible. I just don't know what's next but it's an interesting journey

Even there, who could have predicted the whole British invasion thing(beatles, stones etc) or lsd or anything? Change seems to be the only thing certain....

Pioneers like Giorgio Moroder, Claudio Simonetti, Kraftwerk, and Klein & MBO were making music not too dissimilar to the electronic music we listen to today way back in the 70's. The 80's saw a great amount of electronic music- think Clock DVA, World Class Wrecking Kru, and even Afrika Bambaata. All of these artists were instrumental in making electronic music what it was in the 90's and is today.

Oh man, Giorgio Moroder - I gotta download The chase now.

Every genre has it's roots, you forgot to mention Goa Gil And Tangerine dream, what i was mainly refering to was electronica catching on big time commercially

The Chase is great, also look into a song he made called 'Evolution'. Or the entire soundscore to DePalma's Scarface.

Goa Gil was the first to be holding Raves @ 1969, Tangerine dream's first album Phaedra was recorded in 1973, that's hardly what i'd call noob shit....

The Be in's? that's a pretty shitty name for a band. I was in a band once and our best song was a cover of the Vanilla fudges's :"You keep me hanging on"(original song by the Supremes?) I don't think we even got around to having a name because we were fucking pathetic We played exactly one live performance in the classroom at a local high skool and people were throwing pennies at us

Holy shit man, GR8 pic, gotta remember though the acid was better in those days and you could fall in love with a tree. I still remember opening my mouth so wide and biting into my friend's tree that i couldn't disengage mind you this is after we had acted out a scenierio of: "I've been drugged" destroying their hammock.....then the mother comes out, sees my teeth in the bark of the tree and says:"This must be Martin"

It was pretty funny though because we were coming up an acid seeing who could fall the hardest into the hammock after staggering around saying:"I've been drugged"(we renacted this scenierio for at least 10 minutes, that's how stoned we were) It was actually my pathetic 115 lbd frame that did it it but then for the mother to come into the backyard and see my teeth stuck into the bark of their tree was just too funny

-------------------- Welcome evermore to gods and men is the self-helping man. For him all doors are flung wide: him all tongues greet, all honors crown, all eyes follow with desire. Our love goes out to him and embraces him, because he did not need it. ~ R.W. Emerson, "Self-Reliance"
