water with honey...

I have read that if you mix a teaspoon of honey in a cup of water then microwave it, til it boils for a few minutes then use this water to mix your cake with that it'll help the cake and produce more mushies. But i just found out that honey contains bacterial spores. I dunno if boiling will make this mixture safe to use.

Any tips? Has anyone tried this before?

Are you going to sterilize your cakes after you mix the sterilized honey water with them?
They will be fine with the honey water mixed in.
Follow the directions of someone who has been successful before and don't make many changes. You'll be successful and the proud parent of little beauties before you know it.
Then you'll eat them and be amazed that you grew them so easily
