I have a very good idea for an invention, what do I do now?

I know everyone hates speedbumps. They fuck your car up, even if you go over them slow. So I have came up with a very simple idea to make a speed bump that does not bump if you go under the speed limit, but will be hard as a rock if you go fast.
I have no money to create this invention, but I know if it was made, i'd probably be a millionaire because this would replace ALL speedbumps in America. What should I do?

Your bullshitting. Put up pics of your blueprints and such, to show us that you're legit.

I don't wanna tell anyone how it works, then someone will beat me to it! But trust me, it'd work. Doesn't require electricity or fuel. Just set it up and it's good for years without any maintenance.

I really hate to break this to you... but that's how a speedbump already works.

Are there any chemists in here that could help me design a blue-print?

Speed bumps are a lose-lose situation. Here in FL we have these HUGE bumps that make my whole car rattle and fuck my tires up. I have to go to Big 10 Tires every 2 months to get them fixed.... and I always go slow over the bumps. Us people who obey the speed limits are suffering just as much as the speeders.

The ones around here in Florida fucking tear my car up. My head almost hits the ceiling of my car when I go over then (even when I go slow).

try buying a decent car and get your alignment done, dont blame the speed bumps, they cause no harm unless you drive like an imbecile

If you need a chemist to help you with this... then your product is quite likely going to have a pricetag that no government will even look twice at before saying no.
A normal speed bump is nothing but a little cement and a small amount of labor. I can't imagine it costing more than $100 including materials, transportation, and installation. It can also last for a decade or two before needing replacement (assuming people don't drive like idiots and pummel it with their car's underbelly)

Do you honestly think your invention is high quality and cost effective enough for road commissions and parking lot landlords to tear up all existing speed bumps and replace them with yours?

I could build one for well under $75.

Then save up $75, or sell some shit to get that amount, and build one. If you can demonstrate a need for a large target market with such a small investment you have no excuse not to. If it flops, oh well. It's only $75. But if you truly believe it can bring you some good money it will be the best investment you ever made.
Better yet, save up enough for a few of them. Ask the landlord of a shopping mall with speed bumps in the lot if you can install some free of charge as a comparison with their existing ones. Use this "testing ground" to show construction companies and other potential customers the benefits.
