...you don't consider salvia a psychedelic because you think it's weird?
You realize how little that makes sense, right?
It sounds to me like you have inexperienced friends. There's definitely a fast onset to smoked DMT or salvia, but unless you decide to try and run around right after smoking it there's virtually no physical danger.

My friends may only be inexperienced with DMT. Like alot of people said they smoked it and fell over and hurt themselves. not me. im always careful and spiritual. Coming from someone whos been following the Dead for 40 years, whos taken more psychadelics than most of you have, "DMT is bad" or something to that effect. And i would say because the dirty extractions...
Yea, it doesnt make much sense, since psychadelics are wierd... but salvia.. its not so much psychadelic as it feels like my nerves are being made numb, just alot of body feeling and discomfort..

I think dmt is like a supplement if anything. Low dmt levels have been linked to depression, although since dmt is synthed by the brain from serotonin it might be low levels of serotonin that are the problem.
My own experience has been nothing but good. The dmt vapor isn't all that harsh. If you wash your extract or buy for a company it will be very pure. I've dropped washed plant extracted on a tlc plate and only got two dots. I don't have a degree in pharmacology but my gut tells me that human neurotransmitters are some of the last "active" chemicals that will do a person any harm.
Dmt causes my dreams in the months that follow to be very vivid. Its like I never totally fall asleep and am aware that I am dreaming as I dream. I also remember my dreams which is interesting.
If you have dmt that is of questionable quality do the amonia wash, sodium bicarb wash and rextal in heptane. All otc...

I would be careful messing with DMT. It has to do with sleep and death. It is something other than the other..

I am careful "messing" with dmt. DMT is mostly converted to 5-meo-dmt upon death, something that those with 5-meo-dmt experience would be unsurprised to hear.
Melatonin and tryptophan are both tryptamine related compounds that are used by the body to regulate sleep. They are both considered supplements. I'll admit neither of them produce a heavy trip.
If you are falling down and hitting things, thats your fault, not some risk that everyone who smokes dmt encounters. (lay down-->then smoke)
Dmt is by far the most natural feeling drug I have ever taken. No body load whatsoever, unlike alot of the tryptamines, including to a certain extent 4-ho-dmt.
"It is something other than the other.." Care to eleborate, for someone with poor communication skills (me).
