I just love the porcini, and while i sometimes feel guilty taking so many from the beautifal pine forists, It fills my body with joy, and my wallet with money. May the best man find them all!

That's some nice spots, do yo sell to the local markets? what sort of price are you fetching per pound on the chants and kings? I can get anywhere from $10-20 per pound here in GA around the season time. Those are some sweetly large and fresh specimens... I'm getting hungry :mushroom:

porcini's go for around 15-18 a lb, and chanterells about 12-14. I usually cook most of them, and sell the rest. resturants are usually so desperate to get them, that i end up keeping the best ones, and sell them the ones i would normally dry.

Awesome dude Yeah I have no problem getting rid of extra fresh chants. TOo bad here in GA the rain hasn't been as good as two years ago. Can you comment on how many days of rain you had before the flush, and more importantly, the month before the seasoned primed, was there a lot of rain building up until the prime? Or do you just have a bomb spot? Or both?
