Bears v. Rams
    #6357136 - 12/11/06 09:12 AM (17 years, 1 month ago)

Mixed thoughts going into tonights clash in St. Louis.

I'm confused about Rex, I dont know what to think. I know everyone is calling for his head, but people forget he was an MVP candidate after 5 weeks! He was throwing for 4 touchdowns a game. I just cannot bring myself to believe that he's as bad as he has been playing lately. I just do not believe it.

That said, if he starts playing bad, how can you NOT bring in Griese? We dont need Peyton Manning under center, just someone who can NOT FUCK UP.

But who knows, maybe Rex will throw for 400 yards tonight in the dome. Its been bandied about that maybe he just cant play in the cold, and this is possible, being a Florida boy. So we'll see how he does tonight.

I give him a half. If he's got more Ints than completions, you HAVE to yank him.

But I hope you dont.

idk about rex either.. hes been streaky.. one minute hes red hot, and now hes a little flustered to say the least.

hard to yank a QB that has you at 10-2 and the best team in the NFL questionably.

I still think he gives you a better shot than griese.

I think they need to bring in some midgets for Rex to beat up before each game, just to get his confidence up there. Cuz he's a headcase. Despite still sometimes throwing off the back leg it's not his mechanics really, it's his head.

Feed the man some shrooms and stick him in a big empty room with a bunch of footballs. :crazy2:

You forgot to mention the most dominant defense since the ravens won the super bowl.

San Diego started hotter'n hell, but they've not really done all that much since; trust me, they're on two of my fantasy teams.

They've sacked the quarterback and done little else.
