Please NEED HELP-answer

My first time shrooming will b memorial day, and im buying 2 eights. I have No idea what i should take...I would like to get a good level 3 or 4 trip.
I weigh 135 pounds-the question is HOW MUCH SHOULD I TAKE

p.s-i dont want to hog the shrooms cause my friends going to be eating with me

Don't take the easy way out and go for the quick paragraph answer provided by someone else who's taken the time to find out.
Check the trip calculator (found at the homepage), it's fairly acurate. Read trip reports, visit www.erowid.org,www.deoxy.org,www.lycaeum.org and basically educate yourself as much as possible on the subject. The time leading up to the first trip is the most exciting, relish it, do the ground work (this only helps to reinforce the excitement). Then when the time comes you will be confident about the amount you are taking and roughly what too expect, this state of mind will lead to a great first trip.

You may not want a level 3 or 4 trip for your first time. I personaly wouldnt.. I mean I've shroomed many times and what I'm guessing was a trip border lining level 3 and 4 was so much that I was laying on my floor just repeating "this is too much". I'd say go for a level 2 trip. or even a border line of level 1 and 2..

I would avoid the level 4 trip your first time out. The upper level trips, for me at least, are often not as fun. Instead of playing with the cool tracers and visuals on a good level three, you will spend your time trying to put your mind back together on a level 4.

Assuming that you are eating the entire fruitbody, the fruitbody is cubensis and of decent quality, you weigh 135 pounds, and you are eating on a mostly empty stomach, I would take at least 1g dry minimum and I would not exceed 3.5g dry maximum. The 2.5g to 3.0g range will probably be right on for an upper level 3.
