Syringe Lifespan?
    #636743 - 05/19/02 06:10 PM (15 years, 1 month ago)

How long will a syringe last? Reason I'm asking is a friend would like to order one but will not be able to use it for quite sometime.

Thanks

a syringe will last a very long time if you keep it properly.

in a frig or a nice cool place.....and in darkness.

good luck!

Well I am ordering it when I need it, thing is, he wanted to order his at the same time so he could use my post office box (i'm closing it down soon) so I figured I would ask. He still lives at home so a fridge is probably not a good place to store it. Any ideas on suitable places?

i actually lucked up, and have my own little fridge in my room not for sure if you can get em still, since mine is older than i am! and i havent seen em out b4. but i know of some people, that dont even stick em in a fridge, just in a nice place room temp or a little around, and they say they still work fine! im not to keen on this idea though, since i had 3 syringes that didnt do jack for me, after i left em sitting in a place to long, but i also had em syran wrapped together, so im thinking this could be the cause. just some place, where they wont get to hot, ive often wondered if i should have sticked em around my air conditioner. hope i helped give you some ideas a bit.

Have a tampanensis syringe from Jan. 2001 that is still viable as of last month. Never been refridgerated, kept in a drawer. Was a light syringe to start with too.

Had a couple syringes from 2 years ago that were kept in a dark cool place and they worked fine.

Just recently innoc with year old EQ syringes that were from PF. They were stored in a closet drawer in the dark. The jars colonized no problem.
