NFL Rookie of the Year

Who do you think it'll be?
I'd say Colston hands down, except he missed a few games; if he can put up the same numbers he was he may have a chance.
Reggie Bush didn't do much the first 2/3 of the season, but a 4 td performance, and 100+ total yards and a TD were nice last week.
The front-runner, IMO, is probably Vince Young, he's what 6-4 as a starter, with four victories in a row? Pretty darn good, if you ask me, and he's doing it practically by himself (with little help from the perpetually underrated Travis Henry).
Devin Hester should get some votes, though I doubt he'll win the whole deal. Six miscellaneous special teams touchdowns in his rookie season

I think Hester has a decent shot....
You have to figure, he has the ALL-TIME RECORD for most returns in a year. He is the BEST EVER. Now, if thats not something you can get ROY for, I dont know what is.
Outside him, Vince Young.

it should be hester.. clearly.. but the funny thing is there is a offensive ROY and a deffensive roy... but there isnt one for special teams.. so really hester technically cant be the rookie of the year.. unless they make an exception and give him off. rookie of the year on account of his complete and total domination

He's a defensive back, a corner, I think.
So DROY.

Colston, 7 TD's on an extremely high scoring team, while playing almost every offensive snap. No Records.
Hester, 6 TD's on a low scoring team while playing 5-6 plays a game. World Record Holder.
And, on a side note, Bears Defensive End Mark Anderson is a rookie and has 10 sacks, while playing limited minutes.
Thats pretty fucking outstanding too.

Colston's only drawback is he was out a few games.

"To the moon" was how you got away with spousal abuse in 50's sitcoms.

Ginn's a joke.
He was a first round pick, but not ninth.
Should have taken Jarrett.

Every analyst on the planet had Ginn as the top WR (Not including Johnson, he doesn't count) I haven't seen them play, but I'm under the impression his lack of doing shit is more to do with the team than him. How has Jarrett done, by the way? I haven't heard his name at all.

He hasn't done much, true, but based on performance in college and ability, I'd've taken Jarrett.
Ginn: super fast, puny, won't go over the middle, easily injured and ran half a dozen routes routes in college
Jarret: Two-time All-American, 6-4 220, can out-jump just about anybody, excellent body-control to adjust in the air, can catch anything, played in a complex passing scheme where he ran many routes, especially over the middle. He's not especially fast, but his other skills make up for that and he's shown he's dangerous in open field. Basically Calvin Johnson, but not quite, CJ's just special

that's the point of these threads
i just think it's fun to predict.
And Adrian Peterson looks like he belongs in the NFL.
