Perlite sterilization?

I need to "bake" my wet perlite, what temperature should I set the oven to, should I cover the perlite with aluminum foil, and how long should it "bake"? Thanks.

I just replace my wet perlite with dry new stuff.Pick up a bag for $2.It's too much of a hassel baking it IMO. I did it a couple times with a small table top oven and set it to broil for an hour or so, but I didn't think it was worth the time.

no need to bake your perlite just make a solution of like 10 parts water and like 1-2 parts H2o2 hydrogen peroxide

no need to bake your perlite.

if you are going to reuse it ....follow what vatoloco told you to do.
