Best brand of CD's
    #6349144 - 12/08/06 10:18 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

Okay, its starting to piss me off...

I burn a new CD, put it into my CD player in my truck... And usually at least 1-2 songs skip. Its not my CD player, because some CD's work w/o skipping, and they are old... usually bought ones.

Im thinking some burnable CD's are just weak. I am using Maxell brand, which I've always liked until recently.

Anyone else have this problem? What brand CD's do you use?

Could be your cd burner. Mine does the same thing when I burn cds on it. So, I don't use it anymore, I just use the dvd burner to burn my cds. It's not as fast, but they don't skip.

I have a brand new DVD/CD burner... The skips are still there, and its been from the same batch of Maxell CD's.

I just feel its the CD's and not the devices!?

Never heard of that brand NoobieShroomie

It could be the cds....that's odd though, you may be able to return them if you havent gone through a lot of them.

I usually buy the Sony cdrs. Never had a problem with them.

Yeah, I haven't had problems with Sony either.

Nah Ive used them all.

Some are okay, some aren't. Some are now skipping, but only after a few months... annoying.

I guess I need to just get a gay ass Ipod and plug it into my trucks Head unit.

YEah, mp3 players with hard drives are the way to go. With one of them and an FM transmitter, you don't need cds. I've got a 40 GB ipod and a 20 GB Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen. I love that Creative player, but usually carry the ipod just because it has more storage. I agree though, ipods are gay. I'm not going to buy another one, even though they've come out with an 80GB one now.
