Flip Once Can I flip Again?

Ok so basically I flipped my jars and have noticed some increased growth at a faster pace.... The sides are 95 % colonized and the bottoms which now are on the top since jars were flipped are starting to be colonized. Should I just leave them the way they are?
Or can I flip again?
Thanks Indicaz

You can flip them to your heart's content, but I don't think turning them back over will benefit you much (unless the original tops of the jars are still uncolonized). Just wait for the mycelium to permeate the jar, and then wait another good 3-5 days after to be sure.

Be aware that often when you turn the jars over it sucks air into the jar. This wasn't a big deal for turning them over the first time since it just pushed air out of the jar, but when you turn them back it will suck a bunch of air into the jars, potentially including contaminants. Realistically I don't think that there's too much risk of contamination, but it's still a distinct possibility.

Well, when you turn the jars over it's making the heavier gasses (like CO2) run out of the hole at the bottom. Since the pressure wants to equalize, it pulls in air through the same hole(s). Turning the jars over at any time encourages air flow - which is why it's done. But you're right - perhaps one should not turn over and over to their heart's content. The less risk of contamination in this hobby, the better!
