I just had a T-shirt made that says that.
Is it funny or not?
Do you even get it?

I read that and figured you're referring to the neglect for the authentic pagan meaning of "christmas," which is based on solar cycles.
If you are referring to that, it is indeed quite unfunny.
If not, I don't get it.

See now, "Sol" is a proper noun for the sun, just like "Christ" is a proper noun for Jesus, who is the Son of the Christian God.
I just think people forget what it's really all about...circles.
Tiny circles everywhere...

I thought of the beverage Sol. The average person you see on the street may think the same.. in that context, you may not be taken too seriously
Ah well, it's still a good idea.

Seel now, Hor isn't a proper noun.
That's why I'm funnier than you.

We don't have the beverage Sole around these parts I don't think.
What does it taste like?

Quote:
redgreenvines said: is there a SOL
nay, though it may appear clearly as a delicious Mexican beer, the SOL is an illusion, a transient evolutionary epiphenomenon in the human brain, destined for the dust, not for Eternity...

My body I will give to pleasures, to diversions that I’ve dreamed of, to the most daring erotic desires, to the lustful impulses of my blood, without any fear at all, for whenever I will— and I will have the will, strengthened as I’ll be with contemplation and study— at the crucial moments I’ll recover my spirit as was before: ascetic.”
