It seems to me you'd have to play with some pretty funky equipment to do that. I mean, you could always self test and do the "Did it fuck me up?" analysis, but if you're really interested in exact contents, percentage, etc., then I'm pretty sure you'd need to do some mass spectrometry or something of the like. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's not just "skills", but incredibly expensive technology that would be required.

i know one needs funky equipment and knowledge to do that but i also do know some people around here have this know how... just dont remember who.
dont want exact numbers, just wanna look into these overlooked plants. i am not dumb enough to play with these obscure plants and perhaps maois combined...

thin layer chromatography... needs some paper strips, a few solvents, some developer... i think there should be TLC info somewhere at rhodium's chemistry site... (& maybe even at lycaeum? & other sites as well... shucks, do a googlesearch: tlc, or paper chromatography) --- it's quick, it's cheap, it's sensitive...
prollly info on the alkaloid content of some of those seeds in ott's books, in kilgore trout's books, maybe in shulgin's TIHKAL; & they all have nice references to the original journal literature... (& the original journal articles generally have their exact lab setups/procedures described)
o-chem lab books have "how to" tlc info - public library, university library, prolly even most highschool libraries...
bzzzzzt...
