well, you don't really need any kind of bleach
just boil the water and cover pot until cold
you may also use h2o2, but bleach would kill it all

Actually Hippie3 has a new variation to the dunk tek that uses bleach.

i'd imagine the addition of bleach should only be used when trying to combat contams on a cake, as hippie did in his experiment. what with the absence of knowledge regarding whether or not the mushrooms absorb or convert some of the chemicals in the bleach to harmful things..although as it currently stands it seems that cubes do not.

to distinguish, we call the bleach process 'dipping', not dunking, which is rehydration.
for bleach dipping, you want ones that contain sodium hypochlorite, i used best yet ultra, a cheap generic.
the bleach dip is a 5-10 minute process to sanitize a cake, and can be done after/before dunking and as needed should contams start to appear.
