kind of a dumb question but in your experiences is it better poke holes in the side of your fruiting chamber and fill them with poly fill, or cover the top with saran wrap and just poke holes in that with no poly fil? i cant find this info anywhere :confused:

Holes in the sides would seem desirable on the basis of the fact that CO2 is heavier than air, and will 'pool' in a space where it is generated rather than rise, if not given an outlet or otherwise forced out (i.e., by fanning). But this is merely a logical deduction rather than a contention based on experience.

Holes down low near the substrate layer are important for gas exchange.

I'm guessing poly fill is just to keep contams down, while keeping some gas exchange
