Dont over do it with water hehe. Even tho water is essential during E trips, it is usualy recomended due to E being sort of a dance/clud drug and people dance and sweat exxesively. Ive heard there is such thing as too much water on E. Lol so dont get pnoid and force it in.
As for hiking, sure...get ur ipod rdy and face the world...just dont be surprised if ppl look at u funny, ull prolly be dancing your way down. :-x
Ahhh the stereotype!!! hehe I have provided no usefull information

Cant say I've ever been paranoid on E. You may want to bring some sunglasses along with you however, light gets awfully bright when rolling
But, I've sat there tweaked out on the bus after a party, salt-crusted on my head from sweat, pupils as big as plates and a grin plastered across my face without a care in the world thinking "ha ha, suckers are on their way to work and I just had the night of my life" and not really giving a damn if anyone looked at me funny.

varies too much to say really, u might not get anything from half a pill if they are full of crap, on the other hand half a pill could be amazing and keep u hiking/dancing for hours, depends how much mdma they got in em i guess. enjoy

heres an article from 1995. it was the first really high profile death associated with ecstasy in the uk, which highlighted the dangers of takin e.
Quote:
LEAH BETTS DIED OF DRINKING WATER TO COUNTER DRUG'S EFFECT By Jeremy Laurance, Health Correspondent
Leah Betts, the teenager who collapsed after taking an Ecstasy tablet, died as a result of drinking too much water, which made her brain swell.
Doctors who treated her at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, Essex, where she was taken after lapsing into a coma at home during her 18th birthday party, will tell the coroner that "water intoxication", and not an allergic reaction to the drug, was the cause of death. The inquest into her death is to open in Chelmsford today but is expected to be adjourned. The coroner will receive a post-mortem report by the Home Office pathologist Dr Paula Lammis.
Water intoxication occurs when a person drinks so much water - a minimum of three litres - that the blood becomes diluted. Laboratory results show that on admission to hospital hours after taking the 10 pounds tablet, Leah's plasma sodium level - a measure of how dilute her blood had become - had fallen to 126 millimoles per litre compared with a normal range of 134 to 145.
As a result, water was sucked into her brain cells under osmotic pressure, causing them to swell. This increased pressure on the brain stem, resulting in coma and death.
wot an awful way to die!

I still think a first good E should be done in the presence of lots of other people taking it, therefore a dance party is always a winner - but then again, I have never been hiking on an e so that should be nice too - but yeah, for me its all about how it enhances the music and the lights and the mood between people, so raves are the place to be!

That would suck. I highly recommend that you do NOT take a tab and then go hiking. Not only would you have a horrible first time roll, but the hiking part is gonna suck too.
Don't do it, wait until you are in the 'right' environment.

Why would hiking suck for it? While every time I've rolled it's been at a club, I dont see why there would be anything particularly bad about rolling on a hike. Especially if you enjoy hiking anyways and got your music player full of tunes that you love.

I don't think it would be horrible, but I would recommend for a first timer a small group of close friends in a comfortable house with lots of good tunes!

if you go hiking the way i do, e would be nothing but entirely wrong in the place.
i need to be cautionous and aware of possible falling rocks all of the time, some of those boomers cut through your melon like butter and i seriously do not want to gaze in amazemen at a 15 kilo rock that is speeding towards my head AWWWW ITS SO BEAUTIFUL ..
also, dude, if you go hiking anywhere beautiful, go sober, just my advice and i have been to quite some mountains in my life
