it's bag seed =P I'm guessing it is sativa the reason you probly are guessing indica is cus i've topped them a couple times. no LST for me. as far as lights i'm using 400 watt hps =) it rocks, they exploded with growth since i set that up. i'm using some miracle grow moisture control soil-- hear thats not too good of soil but it has been treating me fair. i've been using the miracle grow nutes. yea i know this is a pretty shitty way to grow but it's like my first time.
behind those larger plants are two northern lights seedlings I can't wait till those puppies get older! they will be beautiful. I'm using some better soil for them, some miracle organic choice. still not the best as far as soil goes i should have gotten some fox farm or something but oh well.

yah, i dunno, id stay away from the miracle gro shit. Anything that uses ferts which you can't control can really hurt your grow. If you don't have a hydro shop nearby, or can't find a store that sells fox farm, you should look into making your own soil. Buddy of mine uses pro mix, coco coir, molasses, guano's, and a few other organic nutes and grows some amazing herb.

Yeah, I'm just about done with my first serious grow. Only have one plant left out of the original four. Two ended up being males and the one female got fucked up (don't ask). But I used that Miracle Gro soil that already has fertilizer in it and I think that's why one of them started to look real shitty when they were still in the vegetative phase. I got a 400 watt too (except mines a halide) and that seems to do a pretty nice job also. I don't think I'll be using any more Miracle Gro products for this stuff though.

Well, im guessing Indica because of the size of the leaves. There is not much of a reference to size, but compared to the size of that chain hanging in the picture, id say that atleast 85% Indica.
Check out this side by side. On the left is my AK-47 ([Serious Seeds] Colombian sativa X Mexican sativa X Thai sativa X Afghani indica) and on the right is a Landrace Moroccan. (probably a straight indica)
See the difference! Id say most bag seed will probably be sativa, but you got some HUGE Leaves for bag seed.

FYI, Most soil will already have some fertilizer in it, but the problem with MOST (not all) Miracle Grow soils, is it has 'Time Release' fertilizers. These time realese ferts, are good for houseplants, that most people would not bother feeding anyway. But they are HELL, on a plant that you are trying to put on a feeding schedule. When your trying to change to a flowering feeding schedule, those time release ferts are still releasing there high N into your soil. HORRIBLE for flowering!
I think MG does have soil without the time release ferts, but these bags are harder to find.
Just FYI
Im not convinced the original poster is using soil with the time release. Are there little round liquid pellets in the mix? Didn't the Original poster say its Mircale Grow Organic?

I got my seed from a friend, who i think got the seed from another friend, who went to Amsterdam 2-3 years ago.
I still haven't flowered her out yet, but most landraces are really finicky eaters, and normally lower yeilders. Mix two landraces together though, and hybrid vigor takes control.
This Moroccan is definitely a finicky eater, so im not holding my breath on yield.
Im going to flower 3Moroccans and 1 AK in my next cycle.

Thanks for that, thought was getting a good deal on "Miracle Grow" as a peat free compost, however I don't want to "Nuke" my "low-nute" plants so I'll be trying to get rid of it (no names no pack-drill). It's difficult to get peat free non-coir based composts that don't have added nutes (also don't you wish they would give the element balance on the bag?). Grateful for the input.
