Effects of anxiety meds taken w/ acid or shrooms

I often have horrible anxiety on most of my trips, a feeling like I'm somewhat bored and somewhat scared (in essence, just pretty damn uncomfortable) and I have trouble easing into the trip ... would taking anxiety meds beforehand make the trip easier to handle? It seems as though the more and more I shroom, the more nervous I get before each trip, oddly enough. I love tripping so I wouldn't give it up despite all the bad trips, but I am just curious if anxiety meds would ease the trip down a little.

hey i know what you mean after a while shrooms made me feel like that alittle thats why i took a year off haven't tripped this year yet hope to soon. Anyway to get to the point valium,xanax an couple other benzo's are great to take with a bad acid or shroom trip especially when you want to sleep from cid an definately during a level 5 trip on mushies or when ever you get that uncomfortable feeling. The feeling i used to get on 10-20 grms dried would feel like it was comming out of my fingers pretty weird but with a benzo that feeling would go away an the trip would be awsome. depends on the meds... but, yeah, benzodiazapenes the day/night before a trip or even a few hours before dosing, can definitely take the edge off...
some vitamins could help (again, niacin/niacinamide/B3...) or some tryptophan or 5HTP or melatonin MIGHT help the night before...
herbal teas like sleepytime or tummymint tea (from celestial seasonings), or possibly even kavakava...
adaptogens/tonics like ginseng, gotu kola, ginkgo, ashvaganda, etc...
a low to medium dose of harmine (warning --- MAOi) can calm ya (but it changes the trip even at fairly low doses

...) (herbs like passionflower or tribulis or caapi or syrian rue)

and as for "other" stuff, i dunno --- hot tub, hatha yoga, tai chi, meditation, massage, sauna, maithuna, swimming laps, zone therapy, shatitzu, float tank, orgone box, violet ray, subtle energy manipulations, yaddayaddayadda...
yadda...

absolutely will help th etransition but may effec the trip
i had 2 caps and 6 stems dried
thought i wa sgoin to die the nausea was so bad
very dissociative state
memory problme big time
xanax took th ebad trip an dturne dit into agood one
